About my Process: I am from Seattle, WA. I have been making art from an early age. My work evolves uniquely each time. I compare it to getting acquainted with a new friend. I explore how best to interpret my subject on the canvas. The best place to start is to study the shapes, color values and identify where the shadows and light areas lie with my subject. I also let my feelings guide me as well. Usually, in this process there will be something I missed. This may be a reflection of light or a subtle color shift I hadn't noticed before. I love this process because I am on my own adventure of creating and discovery. It never gets old for me. I am truly my happiest when I am at my easel.

Besides art, I like to work in my garden, being in nature hiking or bicycling, cooking, traveling and practicing meditation.
